Happy New Year

Yes all three of my girls are on this card-Sawyer, Sawyer and Tatum, then Kenadie. We have had a number of people call to ask if I only put two of the girls on our card. I can see why some would think that.
Hope to have some new pictures soon to share.

Joy..Happiness..Love

I had the privilege of photographing this 8 day new baby girl today. She was awake the entire time and was so good. I never heard her cry--not once. She is just beautiful and very much loved. Enjoy!

This really is my last session of the year--I promise! I don't think I will have time to write before we leave for Christmas. I hope you all have a fun and safe holiday!

Merry Christmas!

One More

As I am sitting here editing Tayton's pictures I came across this one and had to share it with you all--Enjoy!

Miss Tayton

Look at this cutie who just turned one! She was not very interested in having her picture taken, but they are adorable anyway! I am so excited to share these with this family. I cannot decide if I like the first picture better in color or black and white so I decided to share both. I love how you can see her little bottom teeth in the last picture.

This was my last session of 2007 and it is kind of bitter sweet. I welcome the break and am enjoying my girls, but honestly I feel a little lost with out an appointment in the near future. I look foward to 2008 and meeting more wonderful children and families! Did I say I love my job? Because I do and cannot wait for next year.

Black & White

I just cannot resist posting a black and white from my family session. I tend to favor black and white portraits and need to share this one!

Sisters

This weekend I had a chance to photograph a sweet family which included four sisters. They were all so sweet and very special to me since I myself have three daughters.

Last Minute Christmas Gift Idea

Gift certicates make for a great Chirstmas gift. Call or email me for a custom gift certificate.

Tatum & Kenadie

This morning the girls were interested in having their pictures taken so we had some fun!

Thinking Ahead

I am a planner by nature. I plan everything! That said I have been asked by several moms if I would make a trip up to the Fox Valley for photography sessions and justed wanted to see if anyone else might be interested. I know Spring is far away and we are all consumed with Christmas plans right now, but just wanted to put this idea out there. I am thinking Early April maybe depending on the weather. If you are interested please email me and I will send you an email update when I get dates and times set. Otherwise be watching my blog for updates.

I am so excited to travel up to the Fox Valley. My husband and I lived in Oshkosh for a few years and we just love the area. We bought our first home there, had our first baby there, and I had my first "real" job after college there.

Don't forget to email me if you are interested. Kelly@kellysmithphoto.com

Beautiful Family

Wow is all I have to say! What a beautiful family. These boys just knew how to look at the camera. Another fun family that invited me into their home--thank you Annie.

New Baby

Here is a sneak peek from a recent new born session. When baby started to cry big sister sang to her--it was the sweetest thing. She would calm down as soon as she heard her sister's voice! They will be good friends! Rebecca I am working on these and will get you more soon--thank you.

I have not forgotten

Sorry I have not blogged in a few days. I have been busy with getting orders together and spending time with my girls. I have five sessions in the next week and then that is all for December in less one of my newborns come early! I promise to be better at blogging then and get some contest together. I also want to post some of my favorite pictures from the year. Thank you to everyone that stops by everyday to check in. I really appreciate your support.

Happy Birthday Sawyer!

Today is my oldest daughters birthday--yes she was born on Thanksgiving Day 6 years ago! I remember that day like it was yesterday. I was so nervous, excited, and anxious all at the same time. It was a day like no other--one I will always cherish.
Today I am thankful for her. Sawyer is kind, smart, sincere, genuine, and considerate.
I love you Sawyer--Happy Happy Birthday!
Mom
This is her serious mom is taking my picture face(which I do love BTW)

Can you see her three missing teeth?
Look at that toothless smile! I love it.
Check out the newly pierced ears. It is hard to tell, but she picked out hearts.
Of course I had to post of picture of her Hannah Montana cake.

I took these today literally in about one minute. We were headed out the door to Grandma and Grandpa's house and I wanted to get a picture of her today on her birthday.
PS--Tatum and Kenadie I am so thankful for you too! I love you both.

A Short Week

Sawyer last day of school before Thanksgiving is tomorrow and Tatum did not have school this week at all. We have family coming in from out of town and the girls are excited to play with their cousins. Sawyer is of course looking forward to her birthday. I ordered her Hannah Montana cake today and she is just soooo excited! I am not sure how many more pictures I will post until after the weekend. I am trying to wrap up a few things so I can take a few days off too! I am off to Chicago overnight with three of my girlfriends from high school on Friday. We are so excited to just be "us" for 24 hours with no time schedules, children, or husbands-ha ha we love them just nice to get away.

Here is a sneak peek for a busy mom. These kidos are eleven months and three months! I told you she was busy!

It has been a busy weekend, 3 sessions, and I don't have any new pictures to post yet so I thought I would post a few from baby Piper's session. I realized I never got around to posting a few more and am just in love with these. I hope you all are getting ready for Thanksgiving Day and the start of the 2007 holiday season.
