Here is a sneak peek of a newborn I photographed on Monday--just 7 days old. He slept the entire time like an angel. He did open his eyes for one picture at the end.
I never thought October would turn out to be this busy for me--I love it, just not expecting it. So sorry my blog has suffered lately with few new pictures. Here are a few from the weekend.
This little guy was so serious and really wanted to explore at the Pumkin Patch. He is just the cutest though and his big brown eyes will melt your heart. Again another amazing family! Thank you!
I am trying to get some good pictures of the girls for our Christmas card and gave it a try on Saturday. I made them put on hats and sweaters eventhough it was almost 75 degrees out. Anyway I am going to keep trying--hopefully the leaves will stay on the trees for a few more days. Some of these were taken at Holy Hill and some right downt the street from our house. Getting my girls to look at the camera is sooo difficult. They just hate it! I have practice too much on them I suppose. I keep saying they will thank me someday when we are sitting at their wedding watching a slideshow--all their pictures will be awesome!
Thanks for looking and don't forget I like comments.
Just two from yesterday's session because I know mom is patiently waiting. These girls are just beautiful. Thanks for sticking with me in the rain. I had such a good time with this family. Mom was up for anything and so were the girls. I could not ask for a nicer family.
I was so excited for this session today because I had already photographed him a few months ago and knew what a happy baby he was. This session was just as much fun as the first! Here are a few from today--I have lots of favorites.
Here are some more card samples for you all to choose from. Mainly because I was getting bored looking at the ones I have--I still love the first set--just wanted to add something new! They are on my website under my products tab, but they are all out of order. I promise this winter to give my website a complete overhaul, but I just don't have time now to do it. Look for a new website early next year. Of course any questions please feel free to contact me.
Just a sneak peek from my weekend sessions! I just want to say thank you to everyone who has booked a session or called for information. I am truly honored that you all want me to capture a little part of your lives.
I am booked for October and early November. Please don't forget about me for next year or even Spring or Summer 2008--although it has felt like summer again.
18 month old twins and a 3 year old big brother--what a hoot!
I am starting to realize my favorite pictures are definitely not posed ones. Although a lot of people want posed pictures this time of year, I really like pictures like this one. Capturing the moment is what I do best and what I enjoy the most.
Hello friends, family, and clients. I have created this blog as a means of sharing sneak peeks of clients sessions, communicate any news or specials, and to share some pictures of my girls with family. Most importantly I want people to get a sense of who I am and my style of photography. I can't wait to see where this journey takes me and how many interesting and amazing people I meet along the way! I look forward to meeting you all.
What to wear?
I am often asked "What should my child wear?" My best advice is keep it simple and pay attention to details. Rich vibrant colors work great as well as, layers, hats, and eclectic clothing. Blue jeans for boys and fun hats are always great. Fun tights for girls are always good. Loud patterns and large logos do not photography nicely. If you have a shirt that has scalloped edged or fine details that will set your pictures apart. Also large bows in little girls hair can be distracting. I just love jeans and bare feet. Remember you want to be comfortable and you want your children to be comfortable. Layering your clothes is always a good option for Fall and can add some texture to your pictures. Newborns are best photographed in nothing at all. We can go over clothing options when I get to your home too. Any questions please feel free to chat with me. Just be you and be comfortable!
